What is motability?

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to obtain a car simply by using their government-funded mobility allowances. Motability provides thousands of people with a brand new worry-free car. With Motability everything is taken care of so you can enjoy the freedom to drive, on a 3 year Contract Hire and get a brand new car every 3 years

Am I eligible?

The Scheme is open to anyone who receives one of the following benefits, and has at least 12 months' award length remaining when they apply:

Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance
War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement.

The majority of Motability customers drive, but non-drivers can get a car as a passenger. Similarly, parents and carers can also apply on behalf of a child.
